MANILA, Philippines — BEXCS Logistic Solutions Inc. aims to expand its footprint to 360 branches this year through franchising.
During the launch of the logistics firm’s franchise line, BEXCS Logistic president Marjorey Rubio said the company decided to venture into franchising to expand its presence and have 360 branches in the country by the end of the year.
“In the last three years, we have opened a couple of branches, mostly in Luzon. But right now, we want to expand further in the Visayas and Mindanao areas,” she said.
BEXCS, which started as Bulacan Express Courier Services in 2019 by catering to online sellers and suppliers, currently has 10 branches in Luzon.
Rubio said BEXCS intends to continue its expansion next year by having another 240 to 300 branches.
As an end-to-end fulfillment logistics solutions company, BEXCS offers the following services to small and medium enterprises: express delivery; international shipping (import or export); land, air, and sea cargo; and warehouse and inventory management.

BEXCS’ branches also serve as a remittance and payment center.
The company wants to increase its presence in the country to lower the price of its services and take advantage of the opportunity in the growing e-commerce sector.
“If we have more reach in different provinces, if we have more hubs, then, we would be able to provide more competitive rates for our clients,” Rubio said.
In terms of franchise partners, Rubio said the company is open to new entrepreneurs, as well as those who have experience in the logistics business.
“We would like to offer it to anyone who would like to venture into logistics because we know logistics is one of the most resilient businesses today,” she said.
Apart from expanding through franchising, BEXCS is also set to launch a mobile app for its services in June.
Rubio said the company is likewise working with Japanese firm Denba for the development of a cold storage product for motorcycles to help preserve the food and prevent spoilage while in transit.
“Hopefully, we will be able to test the product or the machine in the next couple of weeks or in the next couple of months,” she said.
